Where is Merlin System Solutions located?
Our headquarters is in downtown Tampa, Florida at 400 North Ashley Drive, Suite 1900, Tampa, FL 33602. We serve clients nationwide, including the Washington DC metro area and locations requiring on-site work.
Security & Clearances
Do you have cleared personnel?
Yes. Our team includes personnel with active security clearances up to and including TS/SCI with CI Polygraph. We have experience supporting classified programs and can staff positions requiring various clearance levels.
Can you work on classified networks?
Yes. We have experience working in classified environments including SIPR, JWICS, and other special-purpose networks. Our team understands the operational and compliance requirements of working in these environments.
What is your CMMC status?
We are tracking CMMC requirements closely and are prepared to meet Level 2 requirements for handling CUI. We implement the NIST 800-171 controls that form the basis of CMMC Level 2 in our own operations.
Do you have FedRAMP experience?
Yes. We have experience deploying applications in FedRAMP-authorized environments (including IL4 and IL5) and helping clients navigate FedRAMP requirements for their own systems.

Do you work with GitHub Enterprise?
Yes, GitHub Enterprise is one of our specialties. We implement both GitHub Enterprise Server (for air-gapped and classified environments) and GitHub Enterprise Cloud (for FedRAMP-authorized workflows). We handle migrations, SSO integration, GitHub Advanced Security configuration, and developer training.
Can you deploy AI in air-gapped environments?
Yes. We specialize in deploying AI and machine learning capabilities in environments where cloud AI services are not an option. This includes local LLM deployment, RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) systems, and custom ML models that operate entirely within your security boundary.
What container platforms do you support?
We work with Kubernetes (including bare-metal and cloud-managed variants), OpenShift, Docker, and Podman. We can help with container platform selection, implementation, and ongoing operations in environments with strict compliance requirements.

How do you typically engage with clients?
We engage through various contract vehicles including direct contracts with federal agencies, subcontracts with prime contractors, and commercial contracts with defense contractors. We're flexible and can work within your existing contracting mechanisms.
What contract types do you support?
We have experience with Time & Materials (T&M), Firm Fixed Price (FFP), and Cost Plus contracts. We can also work under BPAs and IDIQs where applicable.
Can you serve as a subcontractor?
